Tuesday May 20, 11:40am [ Harare airport, Zimbabwe ]

We are all checked in and waiting before we go through security and say our final goodbyes. Aaron just took off – probably to look for Melissa (she keeps disappearing on us). Well, we’ve come to the end of our stay in Zimbabwe, and what a trip is has been. What can I say? The journey has been epic…historic! Not to mention Fanny and Martha performing Herculean services for us. Most important, God has watched out for us and gave us grace.

Driving back from the Falls yesterday...

Zebra stoplights and important signs

Melissa eating a mopani worm...

Sampling some sun-dries or fried Mopani worms (caterpillars of the Emperor Moth)

We took some group photos when we arrived back in Gweru yesterday as well:

OK, this was taken by Rick a different day. But here are the boys dressed up for school.

Oh, I certainly don't want to forget to mention that when we arrived back in Gweru later last night, the Daylesford congregation was waiting for us and we were ushered into another special service where they thanked us again and sent us off with many warm wishes. We were greatly encouraged again and thanked them as well.

Everything here in the airport shops is supplied, nice and professional. No sign here of a struggling nation until you walk out the doors. One short flight to Johannesburg, and then this evening we depart on our grueling trip to Atlanta, and finally back to our homes.
